Target Sports Club

We have secured funding from Sports Wales to allow us to significantly improve our Target Shooting Capability at CRAI Scout Activity Centre.  We will be opening a Target Sports Club running monthly sessions with coaching on activities such as Target Shooting, Target Sprint, Archery, Sport Crossbows and Tomahawk Throwing.

Facilities

The Club is run out of CRAI Scout Activity Centre and has all of the equipment you need to take part.

We have an indoor six yard target Shooting Range (for Air Rifles), an indoor Multi Function Range supporting Air Rifle, Sport Crossbow and Archery target Shooting at 10M as well as Tomahawk Throwing using both Angels (3m) and Full Size Tomahawks (4M+).

Our Outdoor Ranges support Air Rifle Target Shooting and Target Sprint (at 10M) as well as Tomahawk Throwing at a variety of distances.

Range Regulations and Affiliations

The ranges and all activities are all run under Scouting Rules and is fully insured through our Scout Policy with Unity (full details availible on request).
 
The Club is affiliated with the Welsh Taget Shooting Federation (via the the Welsh Airgun Association) and is a registered Target Sprint Hub with British Shooting, all coaches will hold suitable qualifications for the activities that they are running. 
 
Participation is subject to the appropiate rules and any age or size restrictions that are in place to ensure particpant safety.
